PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ASKED TO PROVIDE SHEET MUSIC FOR THEIR SONGS AHEAD OF TIME.
Susan brings her expertise in both performance and teaching to this very individualized training session. Susan achieves immediate results, improving technique in lyric analysis, singing, character development, and more, while also imparting invaluable knowledge about the industry, surviving rejection, and becoming a self-motivating artist in this ever-changing field. Her class is inspirational and career-altering!

WHAT TO PREPARE: Come with a 32 bar or 1-minute audition cut of a song of your choice; but know the whole song.

NOTE: Susan will work with 7 singers in 20 minute blocks. To make the most out of her time with you, she is requesting a copy of your sheet music ahead of time. Once you're confirmed as a singing participant, you will receive an email informing you where to send it.
Accompanist will be provided, music must be in the proper key. No backing tracks.
Observers will not only have the invaluable and rare opportunity to "learn by watching" Susan, but the evening will conclude with a Q&A with Susan for all in attendance. Participants may be asked to meet early to run their number with the accompanist prior to the start of class.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Susan Egan has traversed every corner of the entertainment industry, making powerful impressions in theatre, film, television, animation and music.
She headlined on Broadway as Thoroughly Modern Millie, won critical acclaim as ‘Sally Bowles’ in Cabaret, starred in Triumph of Love and State Fair, and received Tony Award® and Drama Desk® nominations for “Best Actress” as the original ‘Belle’ in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Egan starred alongside Carol Burnett in Putting It Together at the Mark Taper Forum, Tommy Tune in the national tour of Bye, Bye Birdie and in regional productions nationwide including South Pacific, The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Amy's View, Unsinkable Molly Brown, Baby, Show Boat, Sunday in the Park with George, Chess, and more.
On screen, Susan has been seen in the feature films 13 Going on 30, Man of the Century, The Almost Guys, Meet Market, Gotta Kick It Up for Disney Channel, and many additional independents. She has voiced leading characters in the animated features Hercules (Meg), Spirited Away (Lin), Porco Rosso (Gina), Lady and the Tramp II (Angel), has guest starred on The Simpsons, Disney Channel’s Amphibiaand Hercules, spent six seasons on Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe (Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond) and currently stars in the web series Bjorn the Last Unicorn. On television, Susan spent two seasons on the WB’s Nikki, recurred on Drew Carey and Almost Perfect, and has guest-starred on Modern Family, House, Numb3rs, NYPD Blue, Great Performances, Party of Five, Arliss, Partners, the Disney+ series Encore and more.
Susan has headlined in concert with more than 70 symphony orchestras worldwide, including return engagements at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and the Hollywood Bowl. She has over 40 recording credits including seven solo albums.
Susan is Managing Partner for Broadway Princess Party, LLC. and an executive producer of Disney Princess – The Concert, which has played over 100 US cities and 18 countries worldwide since 2021. She also produces live events for Disney Concerts - with partner Adam J. Levy and their company 10th & Main Productions – including Walt Disney Animation Studios: The Concert and Disney 80s-90s Celebration both at the Hollywood Bowl, Disney All Stars in Taipei, and Disney Hits Live on Disney Cruise Line.
Susan is an accomplished master teacher in music performance, obsessive gardener, happy wife, and mom to two teen daughters, who are patiently teaching her to speak Gen Z.
